The Lost Art of R.L. Day

Gallery

"Home on the Range," 1939, was perhaps Day’s most popular work and harkens to the days of his youth in Coryell County, Texas. The home depicted in the background represented Day’s birthplace and it is said he once caught a glimpse of a white deer.
